PSYCHOFEST IS BACK! A Halloween surf contest where style, creativity, and chaos collide! This is not your typical surf contest. The idea is simple:
Show up at the beach in your raddest halloween costume ready to rip!
Free to enter, open to all ages and skill levels!
We will have foam top surfboards available for those that don't have a board and want to join in. Boards available on a first come first serve basis. (We will not be giving out wetsuits).
SETUP
We'll be there by 10:30 setting up, early registration is welcome.
Registration starts at 11 AM.
Surfing starts shortly after, before Noon.
Two age divisions: Adults (over 16) and Groms (under 16)
This is an open surf format!
Everyone heads out and surfs together while judges hang out and deliberate (and catch a few waves too!)
We'll surf for about an hour.
PRIZES
First prize adult: O'Neill Hooded Mutant 4/3
Second prize adult: Oakley Sunglasses (picked out from case at WWinds)
First prize grom: Carver Skateboard
Second prize grom: $100 Warm Winds gift card
Best Wipeout: Special Prize (1 winner from both Adult and Grom Division)

JUDGING
It’s not just about ripping — you’ll be judged on creativity, commitment, and character (in and out of the water). Costume durability is also considered… we don’t want any yard sales out there.
This contest is all about having fun. Must be actively catching waves to be in the running. Don't want to see any buoys out there!
All participants must complete a waiver of liability, which will be available to fill out at registration
